In the Spring of 2021, the Pontiac Housing Commission purchased this historic century old Dutch Colonial home at 39 Ivy Street after a fire had completely destroyed the structure. Our goal is to find innovative and affordable ways to redevelop our city’s blighted homes for new tenants – all while using local contractors and businesses for the project. 39 Ivy Street is currently under construction with plans to offer the home to a Section 8 Voucher holder or family in 2023.
